Welcome to EAA Chapter 1042

If you love aviation you are in the right place!

We are pilots and aviation enthusiasts that want to learn, teach, share and be involved in General Aviation.  Our chapter was found in June 1980 and incorporated in 1993.   We currently have members from the area surrounding Louisville Kentucky and Southern Indiana.  We are based at Clark County Regional Airport.

This organization brings people together with an interest in recreational aviation, facilitating social interaction and information sharing between aviation enthusiasts.

You don't have to be a pilot or aircraft owner to become a member of the local EAA Chapter 1042.

You can join the local EAA Chapter 1042 to get a feel for taking your first steps in learning to fly. For whether it’s taking the fam ily on vacation, streamlining your business travel, landing on a pristine lake, or just soaring among the clouds, aviation has something for everyone. Aviation is an exciting, diverse, and rewarding activity that takes less time and money than you think. Learning is done at your pace, when it’s convenient for you. Don’t delay. Start flying today.

We encourage all persons interested in building or repairing their own aircraft to join our group to learn the latest techniques and support from local members.
